Because of the skin effect of lightning discharge, the lightning current of the steel bar in the outer layer of the building is often several times that of the steel bar inside the building. Generally, the area where the machine room is located spans the external and internal two steel bar areas, so there is a large voltage difference between the steel bar columns in the lightning discharge, which is particularly harmful to precision and valuable equipment, so the voltage equalization band is set to balance the voltage between the steel bar columns. Usually a non-closed equipotential copper strip is laid along the wall of the computer room for one loop, and the material is 30*3mm copper strip, supported by a φ8 insulator. And a group of grounding equipotential voltage equalizing rings are laid under the electrostatic floor of the computer network room, in the shape of a ring or a network structure, and the material is 30*3mm copper strip, supported by a φ8 insulator. The spacing of the insulator connection support point is not more than 1000 mm; mesh size is not more than 1200 mm *1200 mm; voltage-sharing ring is connected to the grid nearby. The connection endpoints are bolted or welded, and the end points connected to the voltage-sharing ring are opposite or diagonal. In the corners of the machine room near the column, install an equipotential busbar with a specification of 100×10mm copper plate and a length of 300mm. After constructing the pillars of the building in each machine room, after welding with the copper bars and the column bars, connected to the busbar; connect all signal shielding trunks in each equipment room to the equipotential busbar or equipotential copper strip. In addition, the power supply PE wire, the equipment housing in the computer room, the frame and other conductive metal objects are connected with the busbar or copper strip nearby, and the connecting wire is 6 mm2 multi-strand copper core wire. If the grounding resistance of the grounding system in computer room is more than 1 ohm, the grounding device should be added around the building.
